Happy Sunday! I'm up early for some reason... Family coming for dinner tonight, making a roast beef (in the BBQ), roast radishes and broccoli, and not sure what dessert will be yet - likely something with cream cheese & whip cream - maybe chocolate mousse - or orange with dark chocolate shavings on top.... MMMM! Chance of rain today so the plan is to get a bunch of indoor stuff done on this bonus weekend day - love long weekends. Had to buy a new tv yesterday - the one in our livingroom where I watch, was getting black lines across the screen - and then just stopped receiving a signal from the receiver... Fell in love with a 1200 dollar tv with incredible picture quality, but came home with one for half that price. Too many other things going on right now to spend that kind of $ on a tv - we're not rich and famous - and I don't watch that much tv anyway. This one might get more use being a smart tv - i can access netflix on it directly. I have a 'my gica' that I used for streaming but it hasn't been working right for a few months but in the summer - who cares right? I'll sort out getting it working again once my fall travel for work is done... The other nice thing about the new tv is the fact there's no port (or whatever it's called) for the sound bar, nor for the wireless outdoor speakers to plug in - YAY - fewer wires & less stuff! (Hubby will likely move them to the bedroom - he says there's room there...) I'm really in a purge mode right now so if there's anything you're looking for lemme know - i might be getting rid of it LOL! Grand daughter is sleeping over tonight and the plan is to get out kayaking right after breakfast tomorrow - hopefully not too early but before the heat kicks in.. We've got temps of 35+ with the humidity - it's gross. Hope everyone is able to find some beauty in the day! Cheers 8-)
