Another false drop. It’ll go back to 136-137 tomorrow as that’s the official weigh in day for my spreadsheet. My scale likes to play with me and give me a drop that I gain again lol. (It said 141 the other day which just isn’t possible-gain 4# overnight lol)

Mine too 😟. I was 148 yesterday and 150 this morning. I record my weight on Fri, which tends to be a lower day - I seem to go up for a few days after weigh-in, then back down again. Weird.

Monty, I would do that but I track by the week and month. Also trying to figure out if the drops or gains are on or after a workout day. Seeing how extra liquids effect me, harder workout etc. I plan to start another spreadsheet as to days I workout, calories burned, exercises completed and weight to get a bigger picture of why my weight fluctuates so much. I’m a high stress/anxious individual. Being able to see the number change and go through the likely possibilities I think would lessen the negative feelings toward the gains and also make me more aware of my body. It would be nice for say if I had an event to attend and my dress was a little tight. If I drop a bit the day after a hard workout then I know I need to work my rear off the day before so that the dress fits a little better. :).

Crazy8, I weight on Monday’s just because that’s when I started using this app. It’s become a habit lol. Plus my chemo was Monday’s so every other week for 4 months I was weighed on Monday’s. Monday also tends to be one of the less busy mornings as I do my best not to schedule anything on Monday mornings now. Everything runs behind on Monday’s around here. This allows me an extra hour or so to weigh, use the smart scale thing, log and look back to see what might’ve caused the gain/loss. 😉

Check your scale too, as many of the newer digital ones will read differently depending on where you put your feed side to side, and front to back. Mine will give me a whopping 5lb spread if I shift forward vs backward. Once you know how yours is you can figure out a way to avoid false readings.

@chrisw77...thanks for that feedback. My scale arrives on Tuesday and, besides my Drs. office, this will be the first time I that have been to weigh myself in about 15 years.

It is all about water and sodium levels...

@dajamers thanks! I’ll check that and need to check batteries too. They should be good though as we’ve only had this scale for a few months.

@chris, lol. Yes I can as I see that a lot. It’s usually between 135.6 & 141.0 with the most common being 135.8, 136.6, 137.2, 137.8 and 138.2.

I think all the scales are having a bit of fun with us ;). I check mine against hubbys body fat scale. His says 0.4-0.6# lower when I check immediately after. I need to do that again to make sure it’s still the same. I figure both can’t be working together to confuse me lol.
