I drink coffee and English tea with ginger every other morning. I drink green tea every afternoon. Green tea has lots of health benefits. When my father was 11 years old, GHQ came to Japan and threw chocolates and candy to kids. “Give me a chocolate” was the first English my father learned. One day, GI threw a chocolate and tobacco to this boy. Since then, he started to smoke. He stopped smoking in 2010. He will be 84 years old this coming Friday. He is still healthy and spirited old man. I think he drinks green tea every day.

Nice muscle gain, and fat loss. Keep telling myself I should check fat and muscle, but I'm in a forgetful track currently. Find I have to be precise with hydration to get reliable numbers from my scales. Running it relaxed. Was wondering about the ginger. Do you use one of those ginger graters? Was a bit unwell the other day, and ginger came to mind. Cut it in thin slivers and brew a tea on that, but it got weak. Feel I would get better tea with a grater. Had a habit of drinking green tea before. Been awhile now, and appreciate this tasteful reminder.

Hi Diddlee! THank you for your comment. I have TANITA Scale and notepads with pen in my bathroom. So, I track each number like weight, fat, muscle, bone mass etc. every morning. I also track what I eat and when I ate in my diary since 2008. About ginger: 1) Slice ginger and put in pot with 1 litter (or 1 quart), then boil it and simmer about 10 to 15 minuets. When you make tea, use this ginger water, or 2) use freshly grated ginger into your tea pot, or 3) if you are lazy, buy “Society Masala Tea (Loose) “ from Amazon. It is black tea with ginger flavor. About tea: I recommend to buy “organic” tea whenever you can. Hope it will help.

Ahh, boil, simmer 10-15 minutes. That makes sense. Did only hot water for 5 minutes. Will try again, this time with the help of your kind guidance. Got Tanita scales here too. Stepped on it this morning, and find one fat percentage has gone since last check a couple of weeks ago. Makes the day feel better.😛 Will have a look for organic tea locally. That pic made me in the mood for tea. Appreciate it.
