rhiannon's Journal, 15 May 10

I fell off the wagon so to speak and ate the twinkie but it was good. Well the twinkie and half a blackforest cake BUT they were good. It sucked for my allergy though and starting today I am getting back on track with not wanting to give into the gluten craving. Yes it's more of a health issue than a weight issue, don't get me wrong a gluten free diet in my case has helped with losing weight but you really have to be committed to it if your doctor says go for it. In my case I have a quack allergist that says eat it and a GP that says if it is messing you up don't eat gluten and here are aleternatives. I'm going with the GP from now on and not the quack who refuses to accept that I happen not to be a textbook case when it comes to allergies. The migraines were frequent and hard, more than likely from the weather and my total lack of disregard to my allergy because today with making the effort not to have gluten I have found my migraines are less intense (still here as I did have gluten yesterday and it usually takes 24 hours for things to be absorbed). Well enough of my soapbox talk and on to my renewed comittment of taking care of me (like calling Monday for that yearly tune up).
