Lovely dinner out last night with hubby; first restaurant visit since I began my journey here. We went to a Japanese restaurant and had all kinds of things -- it was called The Dream Dinner. Tempura vegetables and shrimp, Korean BBQ beef, teriyaki chicken, another type of beef, salad, California rolls, potstickers, rice, miso soup, and garlic edamame. AND a lovely glass of wine.

I sampled nearly everything but indulged in the Korean beef; I just love it. We brought a lot home because the dinner defeated us! We have been working so hard on eating smaller portions that it was actually impossible for us to gorge. Mission accomplished! We felt that we had a marvelous experience -- the same as anyone in the restaurant -- without pigging out or destroying our hard work.

Still, an extra walk is in my future today, LOL!
