It could of been a better week, but at least the scale didn't go up. I am going to continue to work at it.

Hey, I wanted to share with you something interesting that I discovered when it comes to my own diet. If i try to eat as much protein as I can (usually lands on some 2.2 g per kg bodyweight, ideally 145g per day), i drop weight faster. i did two graphs for the whole of May, one on how much I weigh each morning and one on how much protein I ate per day. I then overlaid these two graphs. The days on which i ate some 145 g protein I had the highest drop in weight. It is hard to get this much protein but the protein shakes are dense in protein so that helps. :)

I need to come up with new ways to eat more protein. I had high cholesterol and was told I would be on pills if I didn't change my diet and exercise. That's why I am not eating red meat anymore. I do eat chicken and occasionally some fish. The slim fast smoothie that I've been drinking daily, has 12 grams of protein in it. I eat my fruits and veggies faithfully. I have tried quite a few protein powders and I didn't like the taste of them. Any suggestions?
