Welp... 297 is the new base line to work from. At least until batteries are changed again. :D Damn technology!

Amid the battle with the troll scale, I feeling like I've plateaued a bit which is not unexpected. Now that there is a new reference point I'll see what the next few 'weigh ins' say about it. Would like to see some more drops over the next couple of weeks. I'm planning some time off and making a road trip out to LA with the daughter and son for a few days to do a little beach time and some museum crawling (yes they are nerds like me). I really don't see to much in the way of challenges to the plan as we are planning to be walking a ton and I'll be keeping, at worst, to a 16:8 IF type of schedule. Gonna be doing the AirBnB thing so while will be having at least one meal out a day, planning on at least cooking in the evenings. Even if that doesn't work out, I've no worries about keeping within the framework of my plan and not falling back into old habits.

Won't be having my meal today until 2:30pm or so. Son's last official day in 8th grade and school is having a 'last class walk' so holding off until he is done, then we will go get burgers (wrapped in lettuce for me of course) and go shopping for dress shoes, belt and suspenders for him. 'Graduation' and reception is tomorrow and he wants to complete his 'look' :D.

Thursday is kicking off and the week is almost done. Do everything you can to stay focused on what you are trying to accomplish and where you want to be. But, also take some time to take in the beauty that is around you. Life is good, it may be a stone [bleep] at times, but life is good. Enjoy it! Ciao y'all!

That sounds like a solid plan. Anything is better than doing what I did on my vacation (which was eating like crazy and sleeping only 4 hours a day) :) We are going to start a Kickstarter campaign and buy you a good scale :)

I am sure you will figure out how to get those numbers moving down again. Have a great time in L.A. We used to live there, just south of Pasadena. The museums are awesome! We always went to museums, especially when the kids were young. If you haven't already checked into it, different museums have free admission one day a month, not Huntington Library, but many others do. Congratulations to your son on his graduation. Sounds like he will be looking very dapper at his graduation. Oh and if you get a chance, a trip up to Ventura is always worth the time and gas. The marina on the Oxnard/Ventura border has an awesome casual restaurant Andrea's and there is always Neptune's Net on PCH at the L.A./Ventura county line. That's only if you like seafood, but both places serve burgers too. Ugh, so many great places to eat in L.A.! Have a great day and trip!

So in short here it is - hope those numbers start going your way, down. - congratulations to your son, he's going to look mighty handsome. - many museums in LA are free on certain days of month. used to live there. -a trip to Ventura is worth time & $. Neptune's Net on country line (LA/Ventura) and Andrea's at the marina in Ventura are really good restaurants for seafood, both also serve burgers. - have a great day.🌞

I tend to plateau every so often, after reaching a mini goal. I know you'll do what it takes to bust it loose again! Sounds like a fun vacay coming up. My youngest is finishing up 8th grade! Can't believe he will be a Freshman next year! 😳 Burgers sound like a great after graduation meal! Your posts are motivating. That's why I like being on FS. Such a great community of folks to encourage and motivate!
