My official weigh in day has been Tues the last few weeks, mainly because Sunday is splurge day since we've been doing an evening Bible study with pot luck following. It gives me a day to recover from the temporary binge. I did do my weekly average last night (I write down my daily weight) and that is showing .94 loss, so not quite a pound for the week. The fact that I lost anything and didn't gain, was a major win for me, considering last week was sort of hell week for us. Trying to get back into some semblance of normal again. Needing a day at home to get some planning done for meals. Today is errand and appt day, so tomorrow I will hopefully be able to stay home and get some things accomplished. So much that needs to be done. I have to remind myself that it can't be done in a day. But I want it done in a day! Got my oldest son back in school today. Praying it goes well without incident. After his idiotic behavior last night, resulting in him having to hand over his keys and driver's license, the odds are not in his favor. Very disheartening to say the least. We had really hoped that the events of the last week would resonate and cause some serious change, but consequences seem to be the furthest thing from his mind. We can't force it, he has to want it bad enough for himself. All I can do is turn him over to God, because I know that God loves him even more than I do. I hope everyone has a lovely Monday and sees the results from their efforts!

Good luck! For you and your family. I’m still trying to talk to my kids about responsibility for their own actions. LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️And they are in their 20’s. But I have always taken the approach of having pretty reasoned discussions with them when I could. 💁🏻‍♀️The best thing I EVER did as a parent was to make an agreement with my kids that if they had the guts to ask me the question that I would have the guts to answer it honestly, no matter what it was. I made that agreement when my son was in 1st grade and my daughter in Kindergarten. We got masterbation and jerking off, but we also got racism, the clan, hypocrisy and so many other deep and important subjects that were opened up by that door because they knew I wouldn’t lie to them about anything but the contents of their Christmas gifts. 🙋🏻So I’m pulling for you guys, it’s never easy, but it’s so rewarding. 🙆🏻‍♀️
