I managed to sprain my shoulder during a workout so I have been stretching and not lifting weights to keep from making the problem worse. Today I thought I would massage the area a little to see if that helps. NSV: I am massaging away and I realize that my entire shoulder feels like muscle and bone. No squishy layer of fat, and flexing makes the whole area tighten up. Crazy.

Hope you can work out the shoulder pain

Be careful with your shoulder. Some years ago I ended up with a frozen shoulder due to lifting weights. Took a lot of physical therapy to get it better.
