abbadabba's Journal, 26 Jan 18

Cooked up some meals, gathered some frozen meals, and trying to keep consistent with my exercise. Friend last night told me I should try the bacon diet, so my diet calendar will go up and down while I figure out why that would work for anyone. High protein high fat and zero carbs, about 800 calories per pound. So that would work if I ate 1.5 pounds a day. Or I could just eat 1200 calories a day and try to cut out sugar carbs. Although I do like bacon, I doubt I could keep it up more than a day.

Will let you know if I go that route. Ha.

I think you would go broke on a bacon diet! It would also become boring. High protein is not so good for the kidneys, but there is mounting evidence that low carb, moderate protein, and high fat are beneficial. Best wishes on the diet that works for you!
