SABOTAGING MY EFFORTS...goood sunday morning..sometimes ..well always when im being successful at working off the weight i give in to allowing my hands to feed my mouth the food that i once emptied the house of...why i do it..i only wish i knew..i emptied the house of processed foods, sugar, and any of the many other foods that i knew was no longer good for me..and then comes a holiday or a celebration of feeling good about my weight loss journey an i give in to allowing my body all the food that i shouldnt have ..an the cycle once again begins..of detoxing from all of it..thats what i went thru yesterday..

yesterday i detoxed my body from all the little extras that i thought i would so enjoy around thanksgiving..really most of the food that i had wasnt as good as i remembered..and most of what i bout last week at walmart was sugary food or food that i had cleaned out of the house cause of it being processed..but in back of my mind with my riding on zwift..and burning the calories that i do..my mind tells me i can still eat all the processed food an that with my riding workouts..my body will work it off...so wrong..my body stores food that is processed..something that i know..but still give in to from time to time..i know better..but i allow it to happen..i found this quote this morning when i was looking for motivational quotes and decided to add it to my journal for inspiration..

Success Is The Sum Of Small Efforts, Repeated Day In And Day Out

my plan today is walmart at 6am..list is made out..7 items..all are keto friendly..come home an put stuff away an then at 930am have a scheduled ride on zwift to do an hour or so workout..have started doing scheduled workouts instead of just riding on zwift..more challenging for me..gotta keep changing the workouts to keep it interesting..still got 4 months of winter to get thru before i can head back outside to ride once again..and im looking so forward to it..from riding in zwift..ive noticed that my strength in my legs has improved..my speed has increased..can climb hills easier..hills are hills..an you got to get over em if you want to get to the other side of the road..

yesterday for me was a wakeup call once again of why i changed my eating habits..i wanted a healthier lifestyle and a healthier me..i have always been healthier..just carried more weight then i wanted to..having lost some of the weight..it does get discouraging not to keep dropping it from day to day like it once came off..but riding like i do..the inches are showing up in the looseness of my clothes..an i have to live with the fact that the scales arent gotta show losses like they once did..

i want to thank everyone for their support..and ideas..keto for me works..doing a 20/4 works for me as well..less time im in kitchen..less food i see...just works better for my body..and for my mindset...

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY.....

You are a success, Mike. Look how far you've come - eating clean, exercising daily - wonderful! Ok, so you had some treats at Thanksgiving but we all have them occasionally and if you can get back on your diet straight after - no lasting harm done. Have a great Sunday!
