HCB's Journal, 26 Apr 12

I feel tired this morning - but from having fun the last three nights at the ball park, I did excellent with the food.

I learned there are "no excuses, no parties, no birthdays, no holidays, no celebrations, no special circumstances, no person, no place, no thing" that gives me a reason for making unhealthy choices.

I can celebrate with a facial, flowers, bubble bath, manicure and pedicure, or ANYTHING else but food. Continuing to equate food with "special" circumstances continues to create an emotional bond to eating.

I would rather spend my emotions on people.

Yes - it is just a matter of changing my mind set about the "purpose" of food. It is fuel for a healthy body.
