Well, I finally bought a scale and weighed myself. I was amazed to see I weighed 1.5 pounds LESS than I did last November when at the doctor's office. This seems like nothing BUT it means I did not gain back all of the 8 pounds I lost last Fall. Hard to believe...or the scales are inaccurate. Ya never know; but it's all relative. SO I am unsure of my exact starting weight this time - but it seems I did lose something the first week or so...pants are looser. And I am taking the stairs at work to help myself get back to the pre-surgery foot capacity.

I walked 30 minutes today at a good pace for me. It is good to do it during the work day when people cancel their sessions. It gets it over with and gives me a mental boost!


Oh and I just read you are supposed to have 50% complex carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fats in the breakdown...or even 40% protein and 40% carbs and 20% fat could work well.
