Oh oh! Can't believe I messed up all ready on the focus and commitment challenge. And it wasn't with food (I ate pretty good today).

I thought weigh in was Wednesday, but it was today! And I didn't weigh myself this morning so I guess I just use my starting weight and pay more attention next week!

OK - Fresh start next week. I've still got 9 more to go!

That'll work. I didn't register a weigh-in today either. I used to weign in on Mondays, but now I just try to get weighed in within a week's time of my last weigh-in. Great job keeping your food in line! I don't know if I've ever had a rutabaga.....

Sandy - A rutabaga is a cross between a cabbage and a turnip (No, I couldn't make this stuff up). I do not like turnip but I love these. We mash them with butter, salt and pepper.

Do you peel it first...like a potato? Or is the peel OK to eat....also like a potato?

Sandy - you must peel it. The peel is waxed - I guess to help preserve it.
