Woke at 213.0, down 1.8 from my last morning weigh in on 7/29. My lowest waking weight since June 21. Learned some things during my vacation. One is that Fiberwell gummies do not work for me. I was so concerned about getting 35 grams of fiber a day that I took several per day to make up any deficit in fiber that my normal eating lacked. But I was not getting improved movement (and I was adding a lot of extra carbs, both total and net). I went without them for the last few days of vacation and I became incredibly regular (and weight started to drop). This is with daily fiber totals under 5 grams! I will continue to try for 35 grams of fiber (the Nordic seed bread is a great source), but will not use artificial means to augment it.

The problem with Fiberwell gummies is that the fibre content is soluble whereas, personally, I've always found the insoluble fibre more helpful. As you say, the Nordic seed bread is a great source - as are vegetables.

I noticed that in all the gummy vitamin supplements....Way too many carbs for a non food. Same with sugarless gum. 2Carbs per stick????What Whoa....thanks for posting re Fiberwell.

Another good source is the Mission Carb Balance Burrito tortillas. 26 grams of fiber in one and 6 grams net carbs.
