One month and a few days until Christmas. With all the parties coming up, it is going to be a challenge to lose five pounds before the big day. But that is my goal. I will allow myself to have one bite of dessert, but if that one bite turns into a whole piece, then I will not be able to have dessert next time if I cannot control the "one bite challenge". I am also going to keep track of my water intake daily, and not eating after 8 pm. When I reach a certain amount of :) then I will reward myself - not with food of course, with a necklace! I am also going to wear my italian bracelet faithfully. One charm is added for every .5 lb of weight lost. I started this a few months ago, but lost interest when I had to remove charms for gaining weight.
I am excited to begin again on this journey, since over the last few weeks, we have had company, funerals to attend, luncheons to go to, baking, etc. that I overindulges immensely. Now is the time to start wearing jeans again, and get out of the stretchy pants. Nutritional food I will be eating....exercising I will be doing ....articles on healthy habits I will be reading.... I will be keeping my hands busy doing craft projects....I will be learning in the Dr. Phil books ....I will be keeping the house tidy so that stress from the mess will not occur.... I think that these are enough.....don't you?
