Yesterday was very good for me I checked in with Operation Weekend Watch and stayed with my plan all day. I amazed myself by not caving in at Panera Bread. I had the Greek salad with chicken and no baguette bread. Today is going to be a good one too. HCB really helped when she suggested this group, I have a purpose now. My DH is going to be watching football playoffs all day, I am making him chicken noodle soup. I am having chicken soup too, without the noodles. I think I am going with green beans and turnips!

Okay, the chicken soup made with turnip and green beans was a huge success. a big bowl of it was only 6+ carbs. I used boneless skinless chicken thighs because they make a good broth and don't dry out like the chicken breast. I entered this into my cookbook. It is called Low Carb Chicken Soup.
