Right now my obstacle is that I am losing focus. Mobility is a bit lower since my foot is still sore. And am planning for Easter family get together and stressing a bit. I am also planning to break my diet during Easter so my stomach keeps telling me that I can start to break it right now. LOL... And stomach is winning over brain. I had too much cheese and I had some alcohol yesterday.

These are exactly the circumstances that make me gain. I stop caring and logging and weighing. So this time I am trying to KEEP logging and weighing and caring even though I am not actually losing weight!!! If I can to that I can work obstacles into my path. Not there yet but trying.

Weather turned cold. It actually snowed last night. My greenhouse romaine is doing OK. So lots of greens to look forward to,

That's good that your weekly average is down! I am also worrying about Easter. My niece invited me and since i won't see her and her family much once I move, I will probably go. They always have so much food and usually enough for everyone to take home leftovers. Good for you to keep logging! It's been much colder here as well but not close to snow!

Me too. Believe me, me too. Ive lost significant weight, kept it off, and let myself slide right back again so many times. We can do it, but at my age this time it has to stay off, bc it has become extremely hard to drop it this time around. Good luck.

Fritzy how nice that you can see your niece. Lots of family is coming...so I am pretty excited.. I do not want to focus on diet but I know I cannot use it as an excuse to start a super long "diet break"

I am not a fan of cold weather nor snow. I love romaine. There are always obstacles in our way and always ever present temptations. I am praying that I can overcome them because I am not sufficient enough on my own apparently to do this. Probably due to lack of sleep and overwhelming stress. I used to have no problem. Stress is my downfall.

Thanks Morticia. Stess is an issue. . Mine are not major... and I should be able to control them. Food is so much a drug for me. I love to eat and I love to feel full. So I have to be conscious of that and try to better manage stress and anxiety.

We woke up to lots of snow and ice also today.. I gave up trying to clear the snow and ice.. Going down to -11c overnight.. what happened to the spring!!

Yup Anna spring is taking its time. I want to plant spring Spinach outside but looks like it will not be next week.

Nice looking greens. I used to put an 'old fashioned' light bulb on in my hoop houses here in NH. Just enough to take the cold/frost edge off. If you know of anyone getting rid of old lightbulbs, try to score some! I had one of those outdoor safe extension cords with the light fixture (in a cage) and put it near the most vulnerable areas.

Acceptance and allowing ourselves to fully see what we hide in the shadows. Today I will be strong enough to look. I will be graceful enough to love what I see. I am fully human and I accept all the parts of me. It is all good.

I think you are doing the right things! My motto is plan, stock pantry/ fridge with healthy foods, prep, log, and exercise! If I stick to tht I'm able to maintain. Life always gets "wrinkled" once in awhile...just regroup quickly if that happens. Curious, why are you stopping logging and WOE for a bit?

I will stop as there will be four generation of people in this house and mayhem. Which I am looking forward to. But I will get back to it as soon as everyone leaves right after easter.
