Woke up at 216.0, up .6 from yesterday. Will try to eat a little lighter today. It doesn't seem to make sense, but it seems that the extra calorie burn from exercising is not necessarily a one-to-one match in terms of what I can eat in extra calories. I'm really hoping my Fitbit is not over reporting my exercise but that's a possibility I guess. UPDATE: Worked at home today and wasn’t able to get up from the computer much until after 5. Did 65 minutes of HIIT treadmill and got down to 210.8. Jason and I are going to travel out of town for a drag racing event tomorrow, so it will be a diner for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and dinner out before driving back home tomorrow. Will probably eat close to or over my calorie burn. Will adjust on Sunday.

I think my Fitbit over reports my exercise calories. It gives me about 200 more exercise calories than my Jawbone used to

I also wonder if the fitbit calorie estimation might be a bit high for me. I've had better luck shooting for specific calorie/macro targets and have found the right levels that work. Keeping my intake there, that's the tricky part!

Read somewhere sometime ago that 3500 kcals=1 pound of loss is not true according to new research, apparently that rule is from 1958. Can't find the original article though.
