I have decided to stick to a 1200 calorie diet, eating 5 small meals a day, within an 8 hour window. I will aim to exercize 6 days a week as well. I am hoping this helps with my health and weight loss but time will tell. If this doesnt work I amy ask my doctor for a referral or else find a private clinic that can help me with my goals. So far I am not hungry after my last meal (2:30-3:00 PM) and so that is a good sign this diet works for me.

I am pretty sedentary otherwise so need to do some movement everyday and the swimming and cycling is pretty low impact.

That’s exactly what my doc recommended for me too - swimming and cycling. Builds cardio and upper leg strength without further injury to knees.

I ride my bike to and from the pool and the way home is fairly uphill. I curse on the way home because it can be a killer cardio workout, especially in the wind like yesterday. I was huffing and puffing most of the way home.

Be sure to eat lots of protein, sounds like you’re working hard, good job!
