Happy 😃 happy 😃 Tuesday….

Back into the steps of my daily routine…and didn’t really push to get there…

Got results of blood work again yesterday..last week when I got them..I didn’t get everything I should have asked so..I called doctors nurse and went over them again….my cholesterol was up…practitioner wanted to put me on a station…I said no….that I would figure it out…guess it’s suppose to read 200… mine was 220… but I was in a 24 hour fast…thinking that might of messed with reading…on to the better news…my A12…was down 2…. Yes…2 points…. When I was telling the nurse here…she was like me..the cholesterol was a minor thing..she was like me,.thinking the fast might of been part of the difference…so..have 3 months to do even better…lol…

Wednesday I start my 4 day fast…for this week..building up yo a 5 day fast next week…nurse from yesterday is a faster herself…but has never done a 4 day…but is on board to hear my experience…as I told her yesterday’…food no longer has control of me…I pick and choose when I eat…a new experience for sure…

Plan today…move..and get ready for my longest fast…excited…and yet looking forward to the challenge of it..

Well..need to move…☕️time…lol…

Have a fantastic positive day..

Statins, like any drug, have side effects. I would keep exercising and eating better. Try adding in beans. Recheck bloods in 3-6 months. My labs changed dramatically after 3 months of walking and eating better. Last year they were my best ever. My first set of lipids were done at age 26 and last year's panel was better than that one and I was 43. If they aren't improved next check, I would think about meds. It's not something you want to ignore. Good luck!

Good plan! My blood work at 56 was awful and was going to be put on meds for cholesterol and BP plus pre-diabetic. He gave me 6 months to get my act together and that was almost 4 years ago. My checkup at 59 everything was awesome and I am on no meds. You got this!

I eat a lot of protein because I do weightlifting and when I had my blood work done my cholesterol was a bit high too. I was surprised as I eat healthy but Dr said not to worry because all my other numbers were excellent and my " good" cholesterol was ok. (forgot what that's called) Keep exercising and you got this!👍
