Do you live in a cold climate? Regular pasta, bread and crackers don’t provide birds the nutrition and fat they need to sustain in the winter. Often they’ll fill up on simple carbs from humans and then will feel full so they don’t forage for the seeds and fatty foods they need - this results in death for many birds in winter. If you can give them birdseed or suet, that would be fantastic.
