Good Morning All🙂 And happy 🐫 day. Looking for some feedback on "Mud Water" or any of the mushroom coffees. Do they taste like coffee, is there one that tastes better than the others and are they worth the insane prices? I love my coffee but was just diagnosed with gastritis so along with other loves in my diet they are literally off the table 😟. I do have many herbal teas but I truly love the taste of a nice black coffee in the morning 💜. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hope you all have a great day 💜!

Omg I LOVE my coffee too! Sorry you’re having to find an alternative. I used to drink “Gano”mushroom coffee, delish but $$. (Too much can cause a yeast infection. ) I’ve also enjoyed “Kraukas ” in the past made with chicory root. Now I can’t due to my FODMAP sensitivity. We are complicated huh? Lol. Good luck!

I love my coffee too! Lol, not so cheap legal substances. There’s got to be something out there.

Wouldn't recommend the mushroom coffees... expensive and could lead to other side effects. Try Chicory "coffee" instead. It's got a very earthy bitter taste.

chicory and roasted dandelion root make a nice coffee sub.

Dandelion root (roasted and ground) is a really good substitute. I’ve also seen something made with roasted beets, although I haven’t tried that personally. I also recall something called Postum that was made from roasted grains…it used to be available in grocery stores but I’ve only seen it in health food stores lately and at Bulk Barn.

Thank you all for the advice and suggestions on my coffee dilemma😳. I will definitely try the chicory and beet. I'm really curious about the beet, since they are insanely healthy. I'm thinking earthy taste?🤔. I'll let you know. Macraconda pointed out there could be side effects with the mushroom teas, thank you for that. I don't want to go from one medical problem to another. You see this is why I love fat secret, it's a community where we can share with one another what works for us and doesn't! You All Rock! Have A Great Week 💜
