Wow!!! That's alot of food!!! I'm fine w/just the fried chicken. If I ate all that, I"d be bigger than I already am. I used to eat like that when I used to work-out 3-4 hours 4-5 times per week: 1 hr. cardio, 1 1/2 hrs weight-lifting and machines, 1 hr strectching & floor work: abs, 1/2 hr swimming/jacuzzi/sauna, then shower....(Those were the daZe) :)

I agree with Slow Meta - Wow !!! That is a lot of food. I could not eat that much - my body would refuse to swallow after the one piece of chicken - All of it looks nummy - slurp!!! I can still drool.

Weird- I don't think it's a lot of food. How one piece of chicken would make someone full enough to not be able to eat is interesting. It's like 2 bites of beans, 2 bites of potato salad, 0.5 c of pasta salad-etc.. I mean- that's a regular sized paper plate. I'm with Fritzy. I was going to say that is probably the reason I weigh more than both of you, but your weights are private. I can only assume if you cannot eat more than one piece of chicken, that you are about 120 pounds. 🤔

I am now 142.2 pounds --- my Calorie Count is high enough but I only eat 200 calorie meals = about a cup and a half of food at a time --- to digest - I know that is not considered as a lot of food - but my portion control limits the portion sizes and the fullness hormone (Leptin?) does kick in and - the body just will not swallow - I try - I do try --- I really do. That one piece of chicken would fill me right up - my stomach would hurt ---- I am eating 6 meals at 200 calories per meal every 4 hours and I never feel hungry --- I only drink liquids with a meal - nothing in between.

Breezy, the book we just read is The Silent Patient. It was a great mystery with a real twist at the end.

So....like Fritzy said , I thought I had reasonable portions on this plate. It is in fact an oval paper plate...and if you look it's not full...space between the food. A couple of spoons of everything except the Mediterranean pasta salad....about 1/2 cup of that. Other than the pasta in it, it was all veggies. I don't know for sure how many calories but I estimated high on a few things. I was full but not stuffed...and I ate every bite. Jergens, you do what works for you...I do what works for me. We are about the same weight & I've been there for 2 years+. I eat 3 meals a day usually....the largest being dinner. I only ate half an apple for lunch yesterday, so I had room for a nice dinner. My weight was up this morning by about half a lb.

I also ate half a brownie & a small slice of lemon bar afterwards. 😁 When I am in a social situation I partake of & enjoy what is being served. At home I balance higher & lower calorie days.

We read one book for Book Club to discuss at our get together. Everyone is of course, an avid reader, so we also recommend other books we've enjoyed. One of our members belongs to 3 Book Clubs. I prefer having time to read my own choices between the Book Club selections.

Even on lower calorie days, my dinner would be considered substantial & filling. I eat lots of salads & veggies that may look like a large serving but aren't necessarily high calorie.
