I need to do better. My calories are ok but not nearly enough protein. I'd rather use 1/3 of my daily calories on an enormous piece of cake. Back to the gym the last few days and having to do full body since there are so many things I can't do right now because focusing on only one body part would only provide me with about 20 minutes of activity. Trying to do full body but still alternating legs and back. Fear that if I see 219 on the scale again tomorrow, I may just smash it. Just fucking hanging on. Usually when I am on the treadmill I am jealous of everyone lifting. Now that I am lifting, I am jealous of everyone doing the exercises that I can't do right now. Hopefully soon. Definitely getting better. Just in time for my 48th birthday- I am feeling old. I can't spring out of bed. I have to stretch first or I'll pull something. Not sure if that is normal or because I am so overweight, but it sucks. I feel like I have to be extra cautious lately. :(

Well Princess, you may be getting older (as of course we all are) but you're no where near old. I've got 30 years on you and it's just in the last few years that I've decided that I'm old. Hang in there, you're doing great and that drop is going to come. As I told myself last night when I wanted to eat anything I could find, "don't self-sabotage."

Its normal, Davidsprincess.............I started creaking at about 35 and I am super cautious now not to hurt myself cause it takes forever to heal (I am 55 x)

I used to blame the aches and pain on fibromyalgia, but my friends, the same age, have many of the same complaints, so it's age. Keep moving and stick to what foods serve you best for a healthy mind and body and you'll be good. That's what I am working on, albeit at a snails pace and with some self sabotage mixed in, but still working on it. 💕

I always say getting old sucks! One of the reasons I work out so much is because at 64 I find myself no longer able to rebound like I used to. I ache all the time!! At 48 you can still bounce back, maybe slower than before but it will happen. Over the years on this app I've seen you go up and down and you have always come out on top. You are a beautiful and strong woman and I believe you will conquer this obstacle. I wish we could stop time for all our bodies but...we can't so be careful and like Shirl said, don't self sabotage. You got this!!💜💪

Thanks, everyone! I think if I could ever sleep a full night and poop- I could conquer the world! LOL. TMI, I know.

Ever try Fulfil Bars? They’re basically glorified candy bars with 160 cals/15 grams protein. They’re actually HELLA GOOD! Totally satisfy my sweet tooth. Don’t let the scale be a mind fuck. How are your clothes fitting?

Never feel badly about yourself. No one is perfect every day and that is real life. Every day that you live and care is a miracle.

all I can tell you is that if you consider body pain an affirmation of life, you will never feel more alive than as you get older. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you can do it, recovery is just longer. joints/tendons suck the most for injury recovery. if you have a massager or therapy gun, it will help with circulation and healing.

I know what you mean by soreness! I just started taking some extra magnesium and creatine to see if that helps with muscle soreness. Workout days I cannot sleep that night because of my muscles being sore. Hang in there and the weight will come off.

Yes, sleeping a full night would be nice, but for some of us it just isn't going to happen. I find that a cup of green tea with a little honey often helps me relax enough to go back to sleep. Have a great day Princess! 💜💛💚

DP, my fellow Warrior Princess 👸, just sending support. A few weeks of doing what feels right is still putting the effing work in. 💪 🙌

Hang in there DP. At least you are jealous of exercising. That's a great thing to want to do.
