A loss, is a loss, no matter how small. :) So I am happy my arrow is down, instead of pointing up!

I have been working at losing at a higher RDI with more whole grains and fiber. I am still eating a bit of protein with the carbs to hold down the spikes which is supposed to help with insulin sensitivity or resistance. I am forcing myself to eat breakfast within an hour of waking up. Hard for me because I generally don't even think of anything but water, and then coffee first thing in the morning. I used to just think COFFEE...NOW! :) Also, working to do more steps and more reps on the small weights each day. Did 27,767 steps for the week. Worked out with the weights every day except Sunday. Did steps everyday, usually from two to five thousand per day, except for the day I went shopping in Walmart. I was thinking I had a lot of steps because of all the walking in that store. Shocked when I checked that night, numbers wasn't even up to 500! Over two hours in Walmart! Felt like a big workout! HA :) Thinking I should have had the tracker on me, instead of in my bag. The tracker probably didn't count any of those steps.

I have the boys today. Yay!! I love when that happens. They are out of school because of the snow and ice. We had a lot of sleet, for this area, last night and this morning. The boys are taking naps right now. The one fussed that he is too old to take a nap, he is sleeping hard now :) So cute! The younger one loves taking naps. I might have them tommorrow too!! Okay, I won't keep going on about the tykes.

Might turn out to be a high carb day, but just whole grain, fruit and veggie carbs. No refined sugar goodies. In the past, before FS, I would have made cupcakes, brownies, cookies, etc.

In my opinion, I am improving :) to get to a healthier body.

Thanks for stopping in to visit! Have fun!!

Always a supporter Kattay! Of course we'll celebrate no matter what amount. BTW, a friend of mine watches his carbs (Diabetic diet I think?) and says that you can subtract the fiber (grams) from the carbs (grams) to get a realistic number. Have you ever heard of this? Anyway, congrats on the downward arrow and enjoy those grandkids!

Thanks LRFB. Yes, I do watch my fiber and carbs. I usually do under 100 net carbs most of the time. Also, I try to keep my sugar under 50.

Kattay- take whatever loss you get and celebrate it. They all add up in the end.

Thanks Candyluc and Draglist! I did have the boys for both days. High carb, as predicted, with whole wheat spaghetti and lots of popcorn. Could have been worse. Now to flush it out. Days with the tykes...priceless!! :)
