Yummy!

I guess we all know who’s in charge in that house. Lol

Oh what a pretty kitty! 😍  

This is the kitten we found crawling my to middle child. Turns out something had broken both back legs, one in two places and dislocated her hip. Several hundred dollars later, after being told she could probably be an outside cat again, she can’t walk properly, doesn’t use her back legs to climb, play or fight, won’t jump and straddles the back of every chair rather than attempt to sit in it like other cats. So she’s our 4th inside cat. She’s much smaller than the others and the vet said she was the size of a 4 month old kitten when she was almost 8 months. Her mama is tiny and we had to take them in for emergency food when they didn’t seem to be gaining weight and refused a bottle. So she’s behind developmentally and probably just genetically small. Her cousins are inside and all three are huge! Her aunt is inside and she’s huge too but the boys are a year younger and way bigger even though all are fixed. She’s so adorable but after her accident she views me as her mom. She will try to suck on my mole, kneads my shoulders and neck and insists on being in my face rubbing on me just like her sister does with the mama outside. (We got the two girls outside spayed along with the four inside so we will not have more kittens unless someone drops another stray off!)  

Also, she has issues retracting her front claws and her favorite place to lay is on my chest and neck. She will either hide her face from the camera or look at it then rub and sniff all over it. I was just lucky enough to get that pic before she started rubbing on it. I got her to stop and tried for another and that’s when she hid her head. She’s ornery and just like a child! Great alarm clock if she didn’t come in to wake me about 3 am 😝.  

The food was beef tips (roast cubed, pan fried then in slow cooker with 2 cans cream soup, 2 cups beef broth, 3 heaping tbsp of brown gravy mix, on high for 3 hours then low for an hour. Could be 6-8 hours on low as well), egg noodles and a side salad. Kids had sautéed mushrooms and onions, flat green beans and fresh asparagus with theirs. Very think gravy so if you like it thicker I’d leave out the gravy mix and just mix it up as directed and then mix in afterwards. I’ll do that next time! Also calls for Lipton onion soup mix but that’s too many different flavors for me but I do prefer that over the broth and gravy powder 

Aww poor sweet little girl! She's been thru the mill & she's still loving on you. She must know you saved her. That's so great, thank you for being a caring pet Mom! ❤️

@Hazel I think the same! Most of the time she just won’t leave me. Unless she’s sleeping but otherwise she’s under my feet or laying on me. She’s friendly with everyone else but if I come in the room she’s all about me. The vet says she doesn’t understand that I helped her but I think she does! 

@wifey everything is fine! It’s chronic inflammation and I’m assuming from rubbing on my teeth but the dentist said my teeth aren’t sharp enough. 🤷‍♀️
