🙋‍♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday! Hello May!💐

Just a quick hello as I am still in sick mode with this cold. Happy it's not Covid but ready to be done being sick! I will venture out for a short walk today, scare away everyone with a cough (yes, will wear mask, even outside, cos that's just the right thing to do) and eat some sad veggies from the fridge. 🥗

🌷Sometimes, all we can do is keep our mental focus positive, especially when sick. If you cannot do what you want physically today, take a moment to check where your mind is at. Heal your mind, heal your body. It's all interconnected!

I make time for mental breaks. like reading a book for fun or playing games. just something with no expectations that I can check out and regroup. like a mini vacation every day.

Awwww hope your cold leaves soon LivLite. I agree sometimes our bodies tell us to slow down and take the opportunity to pay attention to our minds too. I have learned (the hard way with cancer,RA, and injuries) to do less, take breaks, meditate, connect to gentle friends, journal with positive prompts… and when all else fails…just breathe! Tomorrow may be better!
