Does anybody have and use an electric wok?

I'm thinking about buying an electric wok. My stove uses propane and I just hate cleaning it. It's a nice stove with 5 burners but so hard to clean. A few years ago I lost about 50 pounds and I would stir fry chicken or fish with vegetables almost every day using a wok on the stove. Now because of the cleaning issue I don't like using the stove for food that spatters all over it, like stir fries. I'm checking Amazon and deciding which wok to buy. I remember as a kid my mom had an electric wok that was red. Can't find that one.

I had such good luck getting my house clean before vacation that I've made a cleaning list for the coming week. I find I'm more likely to clean when I can just make a list of things to do and cross them off as I go. Many of the chores only take a couple of minutes but I feel I am accomplishing alot when I can cross them off. Wish I could use the same concept with eating.

I think this may be the second time I’ve told you I’m envious of your stove Fritz lol! We have an electric flat top one which is nice and easy to clean but I’d love a great big gas one, so would hubby. Chores are an all day whirlwind for me, I start on one and get sidetracked doing 10 others lol! Did you know when you make a checklist, every time you check something off it is a little dopamine rush for the brain… I love checklists!

REM - I'll post a picture of my stove on one of my next journals. I was so excited when I got it. I had to get all new kitchen appliances a couple years ago after the oven stopped working. The dishwasher and built in microwave stopped working years before. The stove was okay, but only had 2 burners and was old and also hard to clean. I did the all day whirlwind chores the week before I went on vacation. The house is okay now. The checklists help me and I understand when you say there is a little dopamine rush when something is checked off. I just did the first chore for the week. Getting the leaf blower out and blowing off the leaves and pollen from the deck and then rinsing the deck off. So it's nice a clean. I get so many birds and really big ones from crows to wild turkeys who walk all over the deck looking for bird seed. That's a complicated chore. I have to go down 8 or so steps to the garage to get the leaf blower and extension cord and then go put it back and because of my really bad allergies I have to put all the clothes I wear while dealing with the deck into the laundry and then shower and wash my hair before putting on different clothes

I have one and love it. I just used it tonight actually. I made fried rice for my family and substituted out the rice for cauliflower rice for myself. I literally couldn't taste the difference it was really good. I think you will find it's so easy to use and clean.
