br_e_co's Journal, 09 Oct 14

Good morning all. Hope whatever goal you set for yourself today, you achieve, small or large. One day at a time.

Fasting until dinner today. Low day. Hope to keep under 1300.

Yesterday's 3000 took my rolling daily average for October to 1850, which is fine. And, surprisingly, my unofficial weigh in today stayed steady at 153, so that is good. I thought it would've shot up a pound or two.

Weights, chin/pull ups, , dips, sprints, box jumps, and elliptical today in a fasted state. Matcha green tea and water all day. I suppose the binge I had did one thing, filled up my glycogen stores ... so today's a good day to have that.

Have a good day!

Nice that you held weight despite the extra calories. Who knows, maybe yesterday followed with the fast today and workouts you'll get a nice drop in weight.

thanks for the support, fellas. i can not expect more than a pound a week - so, hopefully i get 1/2 to 1 from last friday ... but ... i am moving into the area where adjustments need to be made to keep the losses going as i approach my goal weight. i considered yesterday a reset day as it is - over the years, if i go low, i found the huge refeeds, while weight may go up a blip, tend to keep things moving the right direction, the rolling daily average, not the single day, is the number i watch the most. have great days gents.

You do it like me and I am at the same point in my transformation. Your right, the weight does not come off as easily as it once did. It's difficult to judge what's going on with fat loss and muscle gain. I like looking at the scale but at this point I do more mirror checks and body measurements to make sure I am going the intended direction. I also look at my monthly average versus the daily. My average food for October so far is 2250. Your doing great!

Nice when it works out that way. It's always an adventure when you step on the scale.

thanks Chillie ... scale tells the tale of what happened the day before ... but can be pleasantly surprising at times. i am with you Brent ... measuring is the best way to judge progress ... and clothing sizes. i remember when i wore 36's(was near 190 when all i did was eat fast food in my 20's, not good for a 5'8" guy) ... now i think i need to look at 29's. crazy.
