Downloaded a few FREE neat apps on my phone last night. Couldn't sleep again! Now I have new toys to play with. What a way to waste a few hours! Checked out all my info on the Zoom pedometer for the week and month. Got to remember to carry my phone everywhere so I can get some steps on it! Blood Pressure Pro app worked better than the other blood pressure apps by a long shot. Two others stated I had bradycardia, had to look that up. It is low blood pressure and might require a pacemaker. Not! Doc's office normal to high. Too many people think if you are large you have high blood pressure. Not always the case. Tried out different Heart rate monitors. Two were the most interesting. Instant Heart Rate monitor was the best. Loved the info graphic showing what the different heart rates meant in regard to warm up, fat burn, cardio, extreme and max. After each set of exercises or eating I would put my finger on the screen and get a quick reading that I could match to the info. Most of the time I was in fat burn and cardio. Super cool! The other was Heart Rate Monitor. Loved it too. Quick readout, charts, tips, food, etc. I'm keep them both. All of these apps can be shared with doctor, etc. Whatever motivates!!

Stressing a bit about the money pit on wheels. Mechanic says catalytic converter is bad, messed up the muffler. Over $1000, etc. :(

Really hoping I can sleep tonight or at least nap enough so I can be ready to cheer grandson at his ball game tomorrow morning. Little boys and girls play on this stage of the Little League. They are all cuties with bats as big as they are. We all cheer for both teams competing against each other. No angry parents allowed.

bradycardia is low heart rate, not low blood pressure. do the apps measure your heart rate without a heart rate monitor? i'd like to see that. maybe with the iphone6, which i can't get until march.

Oops. Guess I wasn't clear. The blood pressure app came up with Bradycardia and low blood pressure and it checks heart rate. Looked up bradycardia. That site linked them together. On both apps you put your finger over the camera light until you get the reading. On my last phone I had to delete some apps to have room for any new apps I wanted to download. Also clearing out some music downloads helped give me some room. These apps don't replace doctor's visits but they serve my purpose :)

the apps sound great. don't worry too much about the bradycardia. if you are exercising a lot your resting heart rate may just have reset lower. athletes have lower resting heart rates. thanks for telling me how the apps work! good luck!

Gnewfry, I just laughed at that reading. I certainly don't stress over app readings. Doctor's office readings...I might. I deleted that app. It was interesting looking bradycardia up. So far the apps I kept are great. Fun checking after walking, taking a shower, and weight lifting reps.

Lucky you dreamcatcher10! My ex was a "master" mechanic. Went to a lot of training sessions to get certified. However, my car would be the last thing he would think about fixing, even before we divorced. My son has done work on the car. He put a crankshaft sensor on it and another car I had he put a new alternator in it. This was a bigger problem. He is a good soul.

Ahh.. we both have money pits. I am beginning to think Cutty's TV is another MP ... first the lamp had to be replaced and now they are telling me some chip at $500.

Bella that is a bummer. It might be less expensive to get another TV unless it is one of those huge screen TVs. Can't say the same for the car lol.
