Bumped up the water yesterday. Also got skim milk instead of almond milk, just cuz I got lazy and didn't want to go shopping so slipped into the corner store and paid $6 for a gallon of milk.
Walking each day, today is day two of the month but I am trying to plan ahead for the party weekend. Well, it's not exactly working but I know what is happening. Did ok yesterday even though I went out for dinner. Maybe I will go meatless a few meals.
Bought some good bean mixes today to add some volume and fiber.
Finally told my boss and his boss that I have picked a date for retirement. They are both 10 years younger - I said those next 10 years can really do a number on a person, like I have arthritis that is just never going to go away and I wake up in pain with that and an old back injury to start my day. When you are younger, you might hate working but you usually don't have to deal with much pain. Plus my mom is getting up there and I would like to spend more time with her, maybe help her lose weight too.
Autumn is a good time for me to lose weight - had some good success with losing 10 to 15 pounds between August and October in the past, so will work the program again this year too for hopefully the same results or better.
Hang in there! Let's go! Stay hungry!

Yikes! $6 for a gallon of milk. It's usually about $3.50 here. But, for me fat free milk works better than almond milk (although I buy it once in awhile) just because of the protein. Hope you are looking for retirement. I really enjoy not working, but miss the social part of it - that's where I made most of my friends.

Milk is cheaper at the grocery store - the all-night convenience store charges extra for the convenience! I am looking forward to retirement mostly, but I miss dancing where I made most of my new friends
