🙋♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday! Today is prep day for start of 12-week Workout & Walking Challenge starting this Wednesday! Time for a BIG change, that summertime fitness push to get me gym-ready, since I will be moved by the end of the challenge and want to be ready for a new lifestyle, new life, new me! 12 Week Work Out & Walking Challenge: Wednesdays, June 9-Sept1, with the Walking group posts :) I've been half-a$$ing it this year. I eat "sorta" healthy and "kinda" do some movement. Two years ago, I had that fire! There is only one way to get that fire back: discipline & focus on a real goal. Guess what? I will be moving somewhere (in the city) in 10 weeks or so! Need a healthier environment; a real neighbourhood. By Sept, I will be more confident to go to the gym regularly and into my fall/winter transformation time :) This is MY time to start my new life! I have been looking at many fitness plans, trying to decide what's doable for me. Tomorrow is: living room fitness circuit setup time! And even setting an alarm for Wed morning! Yikesssss Any pointers for my fitness challenge? Will you be joining me??? Wishing you a very fit, successful week of moving your body! *Pic from: https://livelovefruit.com/10-week-no-gym-home-workout-plan/ 💟See ya for Walking on Wednesdays (& Challenge) & Friday Weigh-In/Weekly Update!

Sounds good but I will pass on the crunches and sit-ups, my back can’t stand doing them

I will definitely join you!!! I need to think about a plan and how to ensure I set myself up for success versus sabotage! haha, need to remind myself, I am not my 20 year old body. I will think more on it and post to the WOW (in app).

One thing I have found helpful is to start with a small goal for the first few weeks to get the body used to moving and get into the routine. I find by then my body starts to want to do just a little more. At least in the past that has really helped build my confidence and motivation. ?!

I am looking forward to cheering you all on!!! I don't think I am emotionally ready to tackle a challenge and will just plan to keep doing my bird walks when I am in the mood. I like the WoW group and will continue to post there.
