That’s the only problem with the animals!! As much as they are wonderful gifts from God, loving creatures to love. They can also have health problems which can really total and crush you!😕
So some people won’t have animals, but all the good times and love, it is so worth it!

So sorry to hear Kitty is sick. It's tough if you don't know what made him sick. Sometimes they eat something they shouldn't have, other times they are bit or stung. I had a cat once and I was sure he was going to die. Don't remember what was wrong, but the vet gave him some medicine and he got back to 100% right away. Glad you kitty is improving.
