Oh my, how scary :(. I understand how you must feel, Lisa. We come to this place and support each other and are supported and it really stinks when someone mean-spirited interferes with that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having friendly relationships with men. How absurd. That is a sign of the other persons depravity that she cannot discern the difference between a platonic friendship and lustful intent. I have been buddies with you for a long time and I agree you in no way ever post anything that would ever upset a reasonable husband. This makes me very mad. Lemme at her! Lol!

Lisa, I am very disgusted by this. You have been my buddy since pretty much the start and in all this time which is coming up on 7 months I have not once seen an in appropriate conversation/relationship between you and anyone of your buddies..Flirting is not cheating, and what I have witnessed in the open is nothing but a harmless flirt and no more than I would assume is normal in real life for you. I am glad that your husband trusts you and I would hope that if this person told you husband that he would laugh her off and not think anything more of it. You are unconditionally supportive, you are possibly one of the friendliest people I have met online and I really appreciate your support. I am so very very sorry that you had this happen.

Glad you found out who your friend WAS NOT. It's not like this is some wild dating site where everyone is hooking up. There's not even any of that going on anywhere near as often as people think. For example I went on dating sites that were a bit risque - NOTHING. Women today don't need a man if he isn't paying half the bills or all of them. It sounds like the so-called friend is a bit jealous. This place is the furthest thing from the devil's playground. One can find one of those places in about two seconds and it's not here as we all know. Be well, and be wary of a sheep in a wolf's outfit who is probably obsessed with the garbage going down with church ladies and their wild lives too...

I'm so sorry that there are some nasty people on this site! I am lucky and have never encountered any myself! I have male buddies on here as well and we do flirt and have a joke together, it's a bit of fun and it's not like I will be running off with them at the nearest opportunity! It's all part of the love and support we all share on here! Some people have very small minds!

Lisa, darling, so so sorry that her hurtful words stung you so deeply. How cruel and misguided she is. She does not have the context of the 'comfortableness' and longevity of your friendships here on FS. She doesn't understand your fun-loving whit or humor. Shame on her for being so hurtful and undiscerning; so judgmental and accusatory. I completely understand your desire to keep your journal private from here on out - that is understandable, indeed; but I admit that I regret that others will not be able to read the positive comments of my towanda-girl. Oh no Lisa! I'm so sorry to hear that you had this experience, especially since you seemed to trust the person enough to give her the name of this site as well as access to parts of your own personal life through your journal here. How ungrateful. Well, I suppose that by criticizing you, it somehow makes her feel better as well as implying that you should be more... like her? hehe. There are lots of crazies around these days, eventually we all run into at least one of them. Having to deal with maliciousness is a universal problem it seems.
