Good morning. I just heard on radio that this has been the coldest winter here in central Canada in 116 years from the months Dec 2013 to Mar 2014. So there we have it folks. Now you understand all the complaining. An average of 4 to 6 degrees C colder than normal. It snowed 5 cm again yesterday and even the die hard winter lovers are getting sick and tired of this. I envy my hubby who has joined the likes of people such asTX. He has gone down to Texas with his club for a two week boot camp and is training for the upcoming dragon boat season. Meanwhile, I have about 1 metre of snow in my backyard and fresh snow on the driveway that needs to be shovelled! Such is life!

On the bright side, I'm down again by .4 lbs. The scale smiled on me again. I got the Tanita scale yesterday for my husbands upcoming birthday. I can't wait to use it, but I'll leave it till then and let him play with it. I'm off work today, so I think I'll head to the gym for my favourite exercise class. My coffee was particularly delicious today, but alas, I must get a move on. Have a good day everyone and enjoy the weekend.

We sent you that weather from BC to try and convince you global warming is a myth. I live near the Alaska panhandle. I think I'll shop for peach trees this year. :)

Yes, it's a gong-show up here with measurements. I thought I'd help out here. Translation for American friends: 6 degrees C = 11 degrees F. 5 cm of snow = 2 inches. For our European friends. .4 pounds = 1800 grams. Oh, one more. 116 years = .... oh yeah, that's the same, but I think the federal government is working on it.

Lol. Today the sun came out and melted the snow on the driveway. Lots of puddles but the temperature is finally breaking above the freezing mark...( which is 0 degrees C or 32 degrees F). So, I actually washed the car on the driveway in a t-shirt...the sun felt sooooo good. (To convert to F from C, multiply x 9/5 and add 32 or even simpler, just do it on the computer.) Have a great day. I know I'm smiling!
