The BF is still on a lower carb bread taste testing kick. Yesterday he bought one called CARBONAUT seeded. Purple package at Sprouts. I think it is the best so far. Last one was Chompies. It was pretty ok as a toast. This one, like most we have tried so far, doesn’t have a whole lot of taste but is excellent as a toast. No weird mouth feel.. 2 net carbs and decent protein— 6gm. I think It is in the FS data base. The BF still works 3-4 days a week so has to pack a lunch. Sandwiches are a natural but he is trying to keep his carbs down as well. He will be 81 in June and has been a super athletic guy all along. He loves to work and loves to walk and hike. He hill hikes 5 miles almost everyday that he doesn’t work. He used to be a runner but it started to take a toll on his knees so he switched to hiking/walking before the damage became permanent. Running is incredibly damaging and most runners pay for it on the other end of life.
