Yeah! Reached my goal of 165 lbs for the week. Next goal will be 161 or 162 by end of Mar. Hope I can do it! After my unpleasant shopping experience yesterday, I started to clean up my closet this morning and in doing so, tried on various items of clothing from different sizes I've accumulated over the years. Well, I can certainly say that the clothes I am currently wearing are looser now than when I restarted FS Jan 1st of this year, but...I still have some way to go before I can comfortably get into my older, smaller sizes. Another 5 lbs I think and I can get rid of my current jeans and pants. Something to look forward to. Just think, almost new (gently used) clothes hanging in my closet just waiting for me...and already paid for! BONUS! I can't wait to get rid of the larger sizes in about a month or two...just in time for summer. I also found some things I forgot I even had that I'm looking forward to wearing. YES! I'm beginning to like the way I look a bit more. Confidence boosting.

Really enjoying work lately with some innovative projects on the go and my research manuscript coming along nicely. Got a large grant for another project and there's a good team in place for this. Hopefully all the logistics for this will get worked out. With nice weather around the corner, many of us winter weary people in the north and midwest are really anticipating spring. The sun is shinning and trying hard to melt the snow even though it is -22 degrees C outside. It truly is wonderful to be alive.
