Well so much for the nice weather. It's freezing cold again. I was delighted this morning to have dropped 1.4 lbs from last week. Yeah!!!

I'm still sticking to my FS Challenge to eliminate "white" for Lent...that is white bread, white rice, added salt and of course white sugar. I'm finding it almost impossible to completely eliminate flour, so I will try my best to reduce it as much as possible. It is present in so much food including gravy,whole wheat bread and is used as a filler for lots of things. But it seems to be helping. Only 37 days to go.

I was sitting around last evening playing games on my iPad when my daughter challenged me to get off my butt and do some exercise. So, reluctantly I got up and got on the treadmill. I managed to get in a decent workout and burn off some calories. And guess what? I felt much better after the workout.

I am so grateful for family and friends who care enough to encourage and support. It truly adds meaning to life. Thanks to all of you out there who support one other.
