Today is nothing like yesterday, brrr! It was 80 yesterday. Overnight the furnace didn't kick on until 6:00 this morning, it got down to 37 and the house got cold. I got up and put on a sweat shirt and had a Mim for breakfast. It is so much better for me than toast, it contains 1/4 cup of milled flax seed, so lots of fiber and omega 3. My neighbor came over and visited for a few minutes, I hadn't seen much of her since fall. She said I looked great. On the other hand, I said she looked haggard, she has lost a lot of weight that she couldn't afford to lose. She said she had been sick. I guess losing weight isn't always a good thing for some people. I am happy with my loss and I am working hard to maintain it.

Oh, is that Muffin in a Minute that you made in the microwave? Or can you buy Mim in the store now? hmmmm

Learn something new everyday, had never heard of a mim before either. Sorry to hear that your neighbor has been ill and I agree with you that not all weight loss is great news. My aunt had cancer and had always been chubby, once she started chemo the weight dropped off her like crazy. Oddly she was happy about the weight loss and all I could do is look at this sweet lady and know that it was not good. Congratulations on your loss, keep up the great work and have a wonderful day.

Sounds good. Something to look forward to when I reach goal. Still making progress...slow but sure. Good reason for taking it slow, too rapid weight loss is aging and already just losing the fat slowly..the wrinkles appear.
