Calories down. Sodium level down. Exercise up.Protein at 100 gs or above. Hoping for any kind of loss. Just started the 8/16 (or 16/8)eating and fasting, anyway I am eating during an eight hour window and fasting for sixteen hours. I hoping this works for me. It seems to have worked for others here on fatsecret. I am also starting my day with a workout on an empty stomach. Come on results day.

WTG, Tim!!! Wow, I just realized you're down over 25 lbs now!!! Almost to 30! You're kicking it! I know what you mean... if that doesn't work for you, you might try dropping the carbs. It's been working for me (so far!).

Rob my next step was to cut the carbs as you suggested. I'm going to try the fasting thing for a while and I did notice when I increased my protein to over 100 my losses were greater that week. I am now exercising on a daily basis and I think my body is adjusting to that as well. Losses have not been great but they are losses. Not sure if I'm holding water or if it may be new muscle.

Great work. I think that you'll like the results of the 16/8 IF. I switched to it a couple of weeks ago at the same time that I switched to a maintenance mode and upped my caloric intake by over 1,000 calories per day. I have been holding my weight steady and have had a tremendous amount of energy.
