Read this in a Medium article today, written by Rachel Hosie ... She quotes her trainer, Jordan Syatt, “You can’t fail, because the only way you screw up is if you quit. As long as you understand that you’re never more than one bite away from getting back on track, then you can’t lose, you can’t fail. And the more you remember this, the more likely you are to achieve your goals.”

A powerful mantra to repeat as you march forward (always forward)in your personal journey in eating healthy, or getting physically fit, or just any thing in general. I needed to read this today, as I am going through years long stall ... and so I thought some of you, feeling frustrated or having negative self talk, might benefit from reading it as well.

We need to be kind to ourselves.

A very good reminder...my all or nothing mentality has gotten me into more trouble than just with food.

I've been telling myself this over and over again the last few months as the numbers have been slowly creeping up. Thank you for saying it. We CAN and we WILL do this! 💛

Nice one! I think the problem is that so many people fall just on the other side of this idea. I’m just one bite away from failing. It’s a small difference in practice, but a huge difference in mindset.

yeah, Shir, i needed this today as well ... and it is a gentle reminder for ourselves. but, to your point, Love2educate, i can definitely be glass half empty vs half full, and to shift to the positive side of that mindset is important. you are right, huge difference in mindset. thanks.

I love Jordan Syatt and his advice. He, Layne Norton, Kevin Bass and a few others have helped me lose weight, get healthier, fitter, and not be miserable.
