My BF is on a mission to lower his carb Intake and has been on a quest for a decent low carb bread. We have tested and thrown out a few already. Yesterday he brought over a yet another loaf (pictured). Had it as toast this morning. Thick, good sized, toasted up pretty and had a decent taste (I had jelly on mine). Others have had a strange rubbery mouth feel that I didn’t find acceptable at all and neither did he. This one could be a keeper for people looking for a decent substitute. 5 carbs, 2 net carbs. It works well in a sandwich. Doesn’t fall apart. Not something I would eat as my morning toast, but If I were to make a sandwich (which he does often during the week) this could be it. I think it has ended his quest.
