I quarrel with myself if it's reasonably good, or poorly. I cut out chocolate (overindulging) this week, so it's reasonably good. I'm eating nutritously, but have been eating crackers (so high calorie for what you get, and full of bad fat), and finishing of my Double Cream Brie Cheese, and Pate, lol!! So I'm proud for giving up my huge chocolate intake (definately became an addiction), but I'm over my calorie count still, and eating high fat treats.

Oh well, it's a start!! I felt hungry this morning and last night. I had scrambled eggs on toast, foods I didn't eat while I was losing weight, even though they weren't my forbidden foods at all. I just wasn't hungry in the morning. But today I was.

Trying to not smoke and watch my eating is making me feel a bit cagey, so I can't let myself get too hungry. It's hard to figure out what is real hunger or real cigarette craves versus the discomfort of quitting smoking.

It's a delicate balance indeed. But I'm going to do better at tracking my snacks, nibbles, and meals as I know weight gain will happen without nicotine, so I don't want it to be excessive by mindless nibbling all day.

I don't make resolutions anymore, as I usually break them within the first 10 hours of the new year, lol.
