I I've been reading about intermittent fasting since i saw it mentioned on FS. I fasted yesterday from supper until today's supper...a total of 24 hrs. I did it, but boy was I ever hungry. My weight was up a disappointing 1 lb. after all the exercise I did yesterday. Funny how that goes, but I did manage to get a light workout of 40 min on the treadmill today just prior to breaking the fast. I don't know if I ate the right food and because I was so hungry, I think I had more than I should have. We'll see how this goes. I may try it again this week and see what happens with my weight. I had energy and my mind was alert so clearly I didn't suffer any ill effects.

My father-in-law went into the hospital today. He's not doing well and likely won't go home again so there may be some changes around here soon. He's very ill. Such is life. We've been fortunate to have him here with us this long.

I may do some more exercise later this evening. I'm finding I have a bit more endurance on the treadmill so I will keep on persevering. I have so much to gain. I am so grateful for a wonderful, supportive family and a job I enjoy...o yes, and warmer weather at last. This is so nice to be able to go outside without freezing.
