The table cloths might be cheaper in the long run. How many turkeys do you cook? And who has the honor of cooking all the pies? That's a lot of people. But you're making them happy. Good for you for doing it.

Happy weekend, Buffy Bear. Goodness on your hosting. You FS women amaze me. Good luck on your finds.

ClassicRocker - One big turkey should do it since we have so many side dishes. And I ask the guests to bring deserts ( I am not completely crazy - LOL). Got my folding table and 6 chairs so not I am ready for anything!

Heather - I had two children and married a man with 3, so it is just one of those things.

From one small house to another, (me @ 1100 sf)...That's a lot of people to sit. And lots of dishes to wash (worst part of the whole ordeal is the cleanup), hope your helpers are cleaners too.

Dishes... Absolutely not. Chinet. Just have a roll of plastic wrap, let them cover the bowls and take them home. Voila.

GG - they used to sit and watch me clean up, but heard about that from their Father! Now I get lots of help.

Classic - I compromise - real plates for the meal but paper plates for the deserts.

Well, as long as you have help, that's what matters. FIL had a girlfriend who would sit on her rosy rump until we were 3/4 done cleaning up and washing dishes then we'd hear, "Kathy,is there anything I can do". Never failed and it became a joke with all of us because she timed it perfectly wherever she went.
