LOL rowing 4500m when your thighs are sore ain't a good idea!!!

My hips were pretty sore after that and walking 12miles on Saturday didn't improve their condition. But I have my time for 2000m down to 9:33 minutes. I wonder if I can do it under 9 minutes. The challange is on.

Monday I had my last session with James :(. Now I have to stand on my own two feet and keep it up! I know what to do and I have written down all the different sets he put me through. Some I won't be able to do on my own as he used to assist me when my strength was flagging. I will have to keep the weights a bit lower for safety sake.
I will miss training with him!!! But I'll see him around if I need pointers and there is always Kettlebell twice a week :)

I took LBs little granddaughter swimming on sunday. Well, I took her splashing and jumping into the pool and dragged her round on my back ;). Later we took her to see her now 7 week old cousin. What a cute little button.

Autumn is coming faster than I would like it to. Been busy clearing the front garden of dried plants and pruning various shrubs and bushes. I don't like it that I am so limited by the lack of daylight during this time of year. And it gets worse on Sunday when they change the clocks back again :(

But today the sun is shinning and I will make the most of it. I probably take the dogs for a long walk on the downs!

Food is going ok in the moment. I am learning more and more not to eat when I am not hungry (monday morning I boxed my breakfast up and had it 2 hours later at work). Sometimes I can't avoid to eat by the clock, but if I have a smaller breakfast or no snack during the morning, I am certainly ready for my lunch at 1pm.

43 days til Lanzerote :)

Our time change doesn't go into effect till 11/3! Still not enough daylight hours here either. So ready to be off! Will be leaving for conference in Las Vegas, NV Saturday - Tuesday. Then getting ready for community/church Harvest Fest. Without my Dad, it will be more work. Sure miss him for this event. Struggling to push through the sadness of him not being on this earth. Made it through his Birthday, parent's 50th anniversary, birth of the first grandchild....and the Harvest Fest is the one that makes me struggle. The cabbage/sausage/apple stew was good - and apparently goes a long way - we still have about a week's worth of meals still left. Love Autumn! My favorite time of the year. So ready to get outside and hike and be out of breath! Browsed around a book store last night (anniversary gift for hubby) and ended up purchasing an eating journal (other than the virtual one here which I tend to ignore alot) and also a regular journal. I used to write alot. Now? The closest I get is an insurance related letter (not the same!) Plus I found the bargain bin and purchased a Bill Cosby stand up comedian old CD (hilarious!), Louis Armstrong, George Winston (Linus & Lucy songs), Beethoven, and Patsy Cline. Went in there to find Mandisa's latest album, which they did not have. What is Lanzerote?
