Fasting tomorrow, can't wait! 😁💪🏽 I always feel great after a fast. 😊

I use to do it regularly but now I do it just for a cleanse. However, I would like to add it back to my routine. 😊

Oh ok Yeah I try to do IF a couple of weeks on a week off. It really burns a lot of fat fast

I agree. Actually I start to feel a bit euphoric when I get close to 24 hrs of fasting. I don't feel hungry yet either. I force myself to eat when approaching 26-30 hrs. Then I'll eat some homemade pork or beef soup. High fat for me. Tossing different greens in and cooking them for a few minutesbreaking my fast.

I fasted for a day and a half. I even worked out while fasting, it was great. 😁💪🏽

Thats awesome! I would love to try a 24 hour fast sometime. I only do IF. What is the longest you have fasted? Any tips for longer fasting? :)

Yessss! I always feel great while fasting too. I usually do about 24hrs, but I feel like I could go quite a bit longer. I'm new to IF so I'm taking it slow, but I'm a month in and addicted for sure!

Sorry to crash on your post, but what is IF? I'm guessing some sort of fast, but what are the details?

Intermittent fasting. It's a cycle of fasting for so many hours and eating for so many hours. Example: fast for 16 hours/eat during 8 hour window. But there are other variations as well.

I love IF! peachesncreame-I do intermittent fasting as well and I prefer either the 20:4 where I fast for 20 hours and have a 4 hour eating window or the 18:6 with a 6 hour eating window. You can gradually work your way up to longer fasts by adding 2 or 4 more hours to a fast. That's what I have done since I started IF in July. I've also done the 24:OMAD fast. My longest fast was 78 hours. cb27713-I track my fasts with and app called Zero, it is awesome! They have so much information and well worth the download 😊 there are so many different types of fasts and they are super beneficial to our health.

Peachesncream the longest I've went was 36 hours. I usually prepare by having 3 protein and carb packed meals the day before the fast. That way my body has fuel to keep me going. I also drink lots and lots of water. Water honestly is key to just about any fast. 😊

I have been on a fast before by skipping breakfast and lunch but just to settle my stomach because of my hernia so that's like 8 hours im really hungry after that and isn't it true that after you go to bed your body is fasting anyways and rebooting so if you are fasting during the day too what kind of side effects are you going to suffer just curious ?
