BuffyBear's Journal, 17 Oct 13

Can't believe I'm doing so poorly these last 2 days. The main problem is NOT cravings, but the fact I have not properly prepared. Eating whatever is available is a disaster waiting to happen.

This weekend I need to start all over again planning, shopping & prepping.

Want to go on my diet??? I had M&M's last night too. But without the peanuts. Going freelance for a week hoping to kick it in the ass. Surprisingly, it's difficult to eat off diet. So programmed to eat right and walk around trying to figure out what crap I'm going to eat. Potato chips for me is an old standby. But it's not overly wicked. Thinking on the line of a cheese steak sub.

Don't beat yourself up. It's just too easy - and not helpful at all. Weight may go up a bit, but it's not gone back to where we started, and it'll go back down again. So we're still successful, the extent of our success just varies every now and then. Remember how well you're doing overall.

Every now & then life gets in the way of even the best laid plan. Being super busy makes it super hard. Learning to make the best choices from whatever options are available at the time is a huge part of any WOE. Practice makes perfect...eventually!

Write is down, map it out, reasearch when away from home, don't eat it if you question it, and most important, log it to keep honest. -DC
