Day 78 I have been walking every day, and my housemate and I are planning some nice meals together. Last night we went to the Sparta Diner as we usually do on Tuesday, and basically helped each other keep the portions appropriate. They always give us bread and butter, which is delicious, but this time we ordered the steak with salad, veggies and baked potato. We will take the two potatoes tonight and top them with lower fat cheese and salsa for dinner - so we got two meals in one, and also lowered the amount of calories for the Tuesday night dinner!
I also got her to buy 2% milk for her coffee instead of half-and-half! This housemate thing is working really well. You should see us all - I put the birds into the smallest room in the house and two comfy chairs - we sit in there, all squished together and read the paper at night with the dog wandering around eating bird kibble!
I am feeling pretty good - some things that I am working on are turning out well, so I am not as disappointed with what my life has become as I was in the summer. It is great to be able to see some results from the things that I am doing.
